Neitho Chadi wins 1st snooker ranking tournament in Kohima

A three day long Ist snooker ranking tournament concluded here today at Club Area 51 under the aegis of Cue Association of Nagaland (CAN).
Neitho Chadi from Club Area 51 emerged as the champion and received a cash prize of Rs. 15,000 while Tongpangkokba Longchar from Atou Snooker Club stood runner up and awarded with a cash prize of Rs. 7000. The other two semi finalists included Temjenlemba Longchar and Tokugha Chishi.
Zhovi Kire, patron of Club Area 51 gave away prize to the winners.
The closing function was chaired by Jonna Naroibam while vote of thanks was pronounced by Neidilhou Suohu.
CAN will organize season tournaments thrice in a year to enhance quality of the game and facilitate healthy competition among the players. Meanwhile, the second season snooker ranking tournament will take place in January next year.
Currently, CAN is led by Yangertemjen as president, general secretary- Seyiekhrielie Rame, treasurer- Medoletuo Keyho and advisor- Neidilhou Suohu.
