Kohima, June 22 (MExN): The Chief Minister of Nagaland has appointed new chairpersons of Nagaland Empowerment of People through Economic Development (NEPED) and Nagaland Bio Resource Mission (NBRM).
Kevechutso Doulo will take charge as NEPED chairman, while L Thronghokiu will be the new chairman of NBRM with immediate effect, according to notifications from the office of the Agriculture Production Commissioner, Nagaland.
The pay and allowances of each chairman will be as per Finance Department O.M. No.BUD/11-53/2014-15 dated May 1, 2017: Salary - Rs 50,000, Vehicle maintenance per month per vehicle - Rs 13,000, P.O.L per month per vehicle - Rs 20,000, Hospitality allowances - Rs 10,000, Newspaper/magazine - Rs 2000, Telephone allowance - Rs 5000. The total amount comes to Rs. 1 lakh for each official.
The two will function from the offices of the respective Mission in Kohima. They each will get one vehicle from the respective Mission along with a driver for performing their duty.
They will also be entitled to TA/DA as applicable to Group ‘A’ officers in the State. Necessary funds shall be provided by Finance Department for the salaries as per requirement, it was informed.
