Prof JK Patnaik, VC inaugurates new administrative block at School of Agricultural Sciences, Medziphema Campus on February 24.
Lumami, February 24 (MExN): Nagaland University inaugurated its new administrative block at School of Agricultural Sciences (SAS), Medziphema Campus on February 24. The event was graced by Prof Jagadish K Patnaik, Vice-Chancellor of Nagaland University as the chief guest and chaired by Prof Akali Sema, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Medziphema Campus.
The chief guest unveiled the plaque and ribbon-cutting, marking the official opening of the new Administrative Block. The attendees were given a tour of the newly-established facility.
In his address, Prof Patnaik emphasised the university's commitment to advancing agricultural education and research in the region. He highlighted the role of modern infrastructure in fostering academic excellence and administrative efficiency.
He urged the faculty and research staff to engage in high-quality research work that contributes meaningfully to the field of agriculture and allied sciences. He also reaffirmed his commitment to further infrastructure development within the university, recognizing its vital role in fostering academic excellence and innovation.
Reports and observations on the development were presented by officials from the Development Authority Nagaland (DAN) and Merijan, Junior engineer, Nagaland University, SAS.
A special performance was presented by the Administration Staff and vote of thanks delivered by Prof L Daiho, Dean, NU, SAS.
