Night bus service from Mokokchung to Dimapur resumes

A new Nagaland State Transport (NST) bus was dedicated at the NST Station in Mokokchung on August 10.
Kevichutuo Sekhose, Assistant General Manager (AGM) of NST Mokokchung, announced that Mokokchung is among the five fortunate districts in the state to receive the new BS6 bus. He mentioned that after a six-month hiatus, the night bus service from Mokokchung to Dimapur will resume today.
The bus service will operate from Mokokchung to Dimapur on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and from Dimapur to Mokokchung on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
The fare will be Rs 450 while traveling via Wokha and Rs 550 in case of traveling via Amguri. The AGM also stated that if the passenger turnout is good, the service will be extended to a daily schedule.
The dedicatory prayer was offered by Matsung Longkumer, Assistant Pastor of Sungkomen Baptist Church, Mokokchung.
