New church building of UBC Midland dedicated

Dimapur, March 12 (MExN): The new church building dedication service of United Baptist Church, Midland Dimapur was held this morning on the theme “My house shall be called a house of prayer”.  

According to a press release, Rev. L. Hevuto Awomi, Executive Secretary of United Baptist Churches Association North East India (UBCANEI), unveiled the new building and dedicated the inter-tribe Nagamese church under UBCANEI for the expansion of God’s Kingdom.  

Delivering a message, Rev. Awomi quoted scriptures from the Bible (Mt. 21:12-13, 2nd Chor. 7:14-16, Jer. 17:10 & Gal. 6:7-8) and said that Lord has given us the church to remain in his faithfulness, and to remain strong in our relationship with God  

As believers we must keep the church a holy place to serve God by keeping ourselves clean and righteous because our body is where Holy Spirit lives, he exhorted.  

Officials of UBCANEI, well wishers, members and leaders of United Baptist Churches in Assam and Nagaland were in attendance. The dedication service was led by Rev. Puduhu Khusoh, Senior Pastor UBC Midland while Associate Pastor, Krhrielevol Pucho led the dedication ceremony.  

Er. Nizal Tepa, Chairman of the Construction Committee presented a report of the construction while UBC Kuhuboto and UBC Midland presented songs.
