Medziphema, June 11 (MExN): The newly paved concrete road constructed in Ward No. 2, Medziphema town, initiated by Thangminlen Singsit, Councillor, Ward No. 2 was inaugurated by Vithwel Kweho, EAC, Medziphema representing P James Swu, ADC, Medziphema, on June 11.
Invocation was pronounced by Church Elder, Doulen Lenthang. It was attended by Abei Thepa, chairman, Medziphema Town Council along with a host of councillors from different wards and colony residents.
After the inauguration, a short programme was held in Dingleng Hall, Medziphema town, where short speeches were delivered by EAC Vithwel Kweho, GB Ward No. 2 and others. Vote of thanks was delivered by Thangminlen Singsit, Councillor, Ward No. 2 with Lengsat Doungel, chairman, Ward Development Committee, Ward No. 2 chaired the meeting.
The road construction was possible through the intervention by Zhaleo Rio, Advisor, Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, Government of Nagaland, stated a press release received here.
