LONGLENG, APRIL 24 (DIPR): Minister Health & Family Welfare, Government of Nagaland, Imkong L. Imchen, along with Minister Industries & Commerce, S. Pangnyu Phom, Principal Director Health & Family Welfare, Dr Neiphi Kire, Director Health & Family Welfare, Dr G. Kemp, Addl. Director, Dr A. Sukhato and other Officials from Kohima, visited Longleng district on April 22 in order to locate a new site for construction of District Hospital Longleng and visited the existing District Hospital.
Minister of Health & Family Welfare promised to fulfill the grievance faced at present like, Electrification for X-ray Machines, water supply, toilet facilities in the hospital. A meeting with the doctors and nurses under CMO and Medical Superintendent establishment Longleng was conducted at Medical Superintendent's office chamber where the minister encouraged the doctors & nurses for their dedication to serve the people. Lastly a meeting was also conducted with public leaders from Longleng area at PBCA hall and Medical Minister assured the public that New District hospital construction project will be taken during the next financial year.
