Mokokchung, May 4 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung Limawabang Jamir on Monday issued an order notifying that the following orders relating to movement of vehicles are enforced throughout the entire district of Mokokchung till further orders.
- There will be ban on movement of passenger vehicles and buses.
- There will be ban on movement of private vehicles of non-essential nature.
- Private vehicles on medical/agricultural purposes/non-essential will be allowed to ply in Mokokchung Town only on the production of movement permit issued from the DC office Mokokchung duly forwarded by concerned Ward authorities.
- Private vehicles from villages/subdivisions on medical/ purchase of essential commodities purposes will be allowed on the production of movement permit issued by respective concerned area administrative officer.
- All vehicles on COVID-19 duty with car passes and permits will be allowed to ply.
“Any person/group acting in violation of this order shall be deemed to have committed an offence punishable under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code,” the DC Mokokchung added.
