New officials of WAYO take over

KOHIMA, MAY 1 (MExN): Western Angami Youth Orgaisation (WAYO) has elected its new team of office bearers for the tenure 2016-2019 headed by Neidilhoutuo Neibu Sechü as the president. The handing and taking over of the WAYO responsibility was formally done on April 30  at Satuo Kikramia Ki, Sechüma village.   Speaking at the induction programme, Neidilhoutuo Sechü lauded the pioneers and former leaders of WAYO for their efforts and sacrifices rendered for the well being of the Western Angami people and youth in particular. Stating that WAYO, since its formation, has contributed immensely for the welfare of the society, the new president attributed the achievements for the leadership the former WAYO leaders have provided during their time.  

“The new team will continue to uphold the constitution of WAYO and work for the welfare of the society at large,” he said and called for continued cooperation from the respective units under WAYO.   The outgoing president Zakiekhotuo Khawakhrie welcomed the new team, while thanking his colleagues for rendering their best during their three years tenure. Khawakhrie also thanked the respective units and all those who have rendered their invaluable service, guidance, cooperation and finance assistance to the outgoing team during their tenure.   The programme was also attended by the executive members of all the respective units under the Western Angami Youth Organisation.
