DIMAPUR, JANUARY 3 (MExN): In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub Section (1) of the Section 4 of the Nagaland Women Commission Act 2006 (Act No. 6 of 2006) the Governor of Nagaland appointed the following persons as Chairperson and members of the Nagaland Women Commission with immediate effect. They include Dr Mrs. Temsula as Chairperson, Mrs. Kakheli Jakhalu and Mrs. Athrongla Sangtam as Members of the State Commission for Women. A notification to this effect was issued on December 21, 2012 by then Chief Secretary Lalthara. The appointment shall be for a period of three years from the date of their joining the post and the terms/conditions/power/functions/honorarium of their appointment shall be regulated as per the provisos of the aforesaid Act and rules made there under from time to time.
