Dimapur, Janaury 27 (MExN): A one day programme for commissioning and installation of new X-Ray Machine at District Hospital Peren was held today with Dr. Nandira Changkija, Principal Director, Directorate of Health & Family Welfare, Kohima as the Chief Guest. The x-ray machine donated by the Rotary Club, Mumbai Chairing the program, Dr. Temjentsungla, Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Peren highlighted how the Rotary Club, Mumbai under the initiative of the Governor of Nagaland P. B. Acharya conducted Medical Camp last year in District Hospital Peren. She expressed her sincere appreciation for making it a reality which will be immensely helpful for the people of Peren. Dr. Changkija, in her address acknowledged all the staff’s for their sincere effort and called upon all health workers for cooperation for success in all fields. Grievances shared by the Town Ward Chairman with regard to infrastructure, manpower and equipments in the Hospital, especially for the Ultra Sound Machine will be put up to the higher authorities, she promised.
