Chuchuyimlang VC voices support for Clean Election
Mokokchung, January 14 (MExN): Supporting the Clean Election call given by the Ao Baptist Arogo Mongdang (ABAM) and the Langpangkong Kaketshir Mongdang (LKM), the Chuchuyimlang Village Council has decided to have clean and fair, inclusive participated election in Chuchuyimlang Village during the ensuing Election. The council informed that the decision, which was signed by 42 of its members, was being made known “in the interest of the Public”.

CYF new office bearers
Kohima, January 14 (MExN): The Chakhesang Youth Front (CYF) nomination committee has recently nominated the new team of CYF office bearers for the tenure 2018-2020. The new team will be led by Lhuvesayi Lohe as president, Vetsürayi Tetseo as general secretary. The Front’s treasurer is Rovi Wezah, while Kopelhi Losou is the press secretary.
Jakhama Village Day
Kohima, January 14 (MExN): The Jakhama Village Council will observe “Jakhama Village Day” on January 16, 10:00 am at the village’s Panchayat Hall. Dr. Nobert Noraho, Retd. Director of Higher and Technical Education, and Dr. Kechongol Sophie, Chief Medical Officer, Mon, will be the speakers on the occasion.
BJP Longleng district resolves
Longleng, January 14 (MExN): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Longleng district unit has resolved that no BJP ticket will be issued to any candidate from 49th Tamlu A/C and 50th Longleng A/C without the consultation of the district and mandals' executives as per the BJP’s constitution. This resolution was made during the second consultative meeting of the unit at BJP head office here on January 12. A press release from BJP Longleng district general secretary, B. Chemben Phom further informed that the meeting also resolved to strongly support the ‘Clean Election’ as directed by the Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC).
