Leo Club Dmp to organize TT tourney
DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 27 (MExN): The Leo Club of Dimapur is organizing an Inter School Table Tennis Tournament on September 29 and 30 at Lions Premises, Midland. The opening ceremony of the tournament will start on Saturday at 8:30am. A press release from the club invited all NGOs and media as well as ex Leos on the commencement of the tournament.

Kohima, September 27 (MExN): In view of the forthcoming 23rd Inter District cum Nagaland Open Table Tennis Championship 2018, the Nagaland Table Tennis Association has informed all District Table Tennis Associations to intimate Max Pucho (9436001949) or Vitho Neikha (7630981785) on or before October 5. The tournament is set to take place from October 17 to 19 at Kohima.
Phek Departmental Badminton C’ship held
PHEK, SEPTEMBER 27 (MExN): The Phek District Departmental Badminton Championship 2018 was held on September 27 at the badminton stadium, Phek with Deputy Commissioner Phek, Orenthung Lotha, NCS as the guest speaker. Speaking on the occasion the DC emphasized on the need to maintain good health through games and sports. He also mentioned on the opportunities provided by the government in the field of games and sports. The programme was led by Dietho Koza. Welcome addressed was delivered by Tokavi Akami, Addl. SP Phek, Tokavi Achumi.
PSA to organize open penalty shoot-out
Kohima, September 27 (MExN): The Phek Sports Association in collaboration with Phek District Sports Council is organizing open penalty shoot-out on October 6 at Phek village local ground. Entry fee have been fixed at Rs 1500 and last date for submission of form is October 4. The champion will fetch a cash prize of Rs. 30,000 while the runner-up will pocket Rs. 20,000. Royal Club Kohima meeting today
Kohima, September 27 (MExN): Royal Club, Kohima has convened the last general meeting on September 28, 5:00 pm at the residence of its president. The meeting will discuss matter relating to badminton and table tennis tournament for high schools; club raising day on November 1; search/nomination committee for new office bearers, RCK General Secretary Kenny Peseyie informed in a press release. All members have been asked to attend the meeting without fail.
