DC Dimapur informs on Parade Rehearsal

Dimapur, January 17 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel has informed the Parade contingents under Dimapur District that the Parade Rehearsal for the ensuing Republic Day celebration will commence from January 20, 7:00 am onwards at the DDSC Stadium.  

State nodal officer for SHe-Box appointed

Kohima, January 17 (DIPR): Personnel & Administrative Reforms Department through a notification has informed that the Government of Nagaland has appointed Sotsula, Joint Secretary, I&PR as State Nodal Officer (SNO) to oversee the functioning of the SHe-Box in relations to complaints against sexual harassment at workplace in the State.  

ZRSU Golden Jubilee from Jan 23

Zunheboto, January 17 (MExN): The Organising Committee and Planning board of Zunheboto Range Students' Union (ZRSU) has informed that it will be celebrating its golden jubilee from January 23 to 25 at Asukhomi Village under the theme “Era of Enlightenment”. The committee in this regard has invited all people of the area for the celebrations.  

NSCN (R) ‘force discharge’ two cadres

Dimapur, January 17 (MExN): The NSCN (Reformation) has “force discharged” two of its cadres identified as Lieut. Col. Kaito Achumi and Captain Asheto of Sumi region from the active national service with immediate effect. In a press release from its MIP, the NSCN (R) stated that the duo was found “indulging in anti-social activities which is against the ‘Yehzabo’ of the government.” It further informed the general public not to entertain them in any way relating to the matter of government.  

BJP appoints state election campaign officials

Kohima, January 17 (MExN): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland state president, Visasolie Lhoungu has appointed Dr. M. Chuba Ao as convenor and Mmhonlumo Kikon as co-convenor of the state election campaign committee, BJP Nagaland, with immediate effect. The appointments were made as per the directive of the BJP central leadership, stated Lhoungu in an order issued on January 14.
