R. Khing resigns from NPF, joins NDPP
Dimapur, January 18 (MExN): Former Nagaland Minister and Vice President of NPF Central R. Khing on Thursday resigned from both primary and active membership of the NPF Party and joined the NDPP at the party’s office in Chumukedima, Dimapur. Khing was welcomed to the NDPP by party president Chingwang Konyak and host of senior party leaders and officials, a press release from the NDPP’s Media & Communication Committee informed.
E-Roll audit observers visit Pughoboto
Pughoboto, January 18 (DIPR): The Electoral Roll Audit Observers from ECI – Abhishek Tiwari and Sourabh Rena visited the office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner and District Election Office, Pughoboto to carry out Audit and Inspection of all E-Roll and Summary Revision activities in the district on January 18.
KPC foundation day on January 20

31st ACYA Convention from today
Kohima, January 18 (MExN): The Angami Catholic Youth Association (ACYA) will hold its 31st Convention from January 19 to 21 at Mary Help of Christians, Cathedral, Kohima under the theme “Celebrating Faith, Celebrating Culture.” The speakers of the three day convention will include: Dr. James Thoppil, Bishop of Kohima, Rev. Fr. Neisalhou Carlus, Vicar General, Kohima Diocese, Rev. Fr. Vemedo Joseph Kezo, Spiritual Director ACYA, R. Rocus Chasie, Vikepelhu Lucas Meyase, Rovilatuo Nicholas Mor (IAS), Richard Belho and Kezhasezo Kenneth.

Tseminyu SDPDB meeting held
Tseminyu, January 18 (DIPR): The monthly Sub-divisional Planning & Development Board (SDPDB) meeting of Tseminyu was held on January 10 at DB’s conference hall, Tseminyu. EAC Tseminyu, Er. Kevungoto Kulnu chaired the meeting, which deliberated on preparation and distribution of works for the Republic Day scheduled to be celebrated on January 26 at ADC office compound. The chairperson requested all heads of offices to effectively carry out their responsibilities.
