GTs promoted without B.Ed asked to remain in present posting place Kohima, March 18 (MExN): Graduate Teachers who were promoted as JEO/AHM vide Order NO. DSE/PROM/1-78/2015, dated March 11, 2017 without possessing the professional qualification of B.Ed. have been directed not to join their new posting as JEO/AHM but remain in their present place of posting as Graduate Teachers until further orders. The other newly promoted JEO/AHM are also directed to submit the B.Ed. certificates for verification to the Addl. Director (HOD), Directorate of School Education within March 31, 2017 positively, failing which the promotion shall be cancelled, stated an office memo from FP Solo, Principal Secretary to the Govt. of Nagaland.     ANGPTA supports CANSSEA on RoP Dimapur, March 18 (MExN): The All Nagaland Government Primary Teachers' Association (ANGPTA) has lauded the initiatives taken up by CANSSEA for implementation of the 7th RoP w.e.f March 1, 2017. “We (ANGPTA) being the affiliated association of CANSSEA support and assure that we are always behind you to carry the yoke together,” stated a press release from ANGPTA president, James Ruokuoselhou and general secretary, Hoshika Sumi.     ANHTU appeals for two months’ salary within March Kohima, March 18 (MExN): All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union (ANHTU) has requested the Director of School Education to take into consideration the hardship faced by the CSS Hindi teachers and release 2 months’ salary within March 2017 as per the agreement. ANHTU in a press release noted this will enable the teachers to meet their fares and necessary expenses as most of them are posted in remote area.     Electrical Inspectorate office shifted Kohima, March 18 (MExN): The office of the Electrical Inspectorate has been shifted to a new location at D' Block Midland, Kohima on the ground floor of Kohima Night Bazar building near LCS Building. All the Electrical contractors, supervisors and workmen have been requested to bring two passport size photographs along with their renewal application. This was informed by Er. I.V Chishi, Chief Electrical Inspectorate.
