
SDO (SADAR) Kohima notifies Kohima, April 19 (DIPR): Sub-Divisional Officer (Sadar) Kohima Kethosituo Sekhose notified that some items which were retrieved on the night of January 2, 2017 were handed over and kept in the office of the Deputy Commissioner Kohima for claims from concerned offices or departments. The items included, Monitor (four); Keyboard (three); Speaker (two); Mouse, UPS, Printer, CPU (One each); and Electric Heater (two). However, the notification also added that till date the above items remain unclaimed and are kept in this office. In this regard, concerned departments or offices are requested to collect the same from the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of issue of this notice, failing which no claims shall be entertained thereafter. Civil Services Day on April 21 Kohima, April 19 (DIPR): The Department of Personnel & Administrative Reforms has informed that the state government is scheduled to celebrate the Civil Services Day celebration on April 21 at ATI, Kohima along with the rest of the country. The Chief Minister of Nagaland, Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu has consented to be the chief guest for the inaugural programme. Other highlights of the programme include the opening remarks to be given by the Chief Secretary of Nagaland, Pankaj Kumar, IAS while the Additional Chief Secretary & Development Commissioner, RB Thong, IAS will deliver the welcome speech. There will be an inaugural session in the morning followed by Technical Session in the afternoon where the key departments are expected to give presentation. Y Aunru Village informs Dimapur, April 19 (MExN): Expressing apprehension over the wrong interpretation in different write-ups, the Y Aunru Village Council has informed “all the writers around any sorts of writings” and particularly about the village to take approval from the Village council before any publication. The Council Secretary K Yinsoba in a press note maintained that the notification was issued after learning about some writers wrongly interpreting about the village before. “The writers are requested to abide this information, failing of which the council will compel to initiate legal course of action against the defaulter,” it added. LBWD prepares for forthcoming coming NBCC general meeting Tening, April 19 (DIPR): The Liangmai Baptist Women Department (LBWD) under Liangmai Baptist Association (LBA) held its annual executive meeting at ADC Headquarter LBA Mission Centre Tening under the chairmanship of LBA Women President Akengiu on April 18. During the meeting, they discussed and resolved to strengthen the mission work in view of the coming NBCC general meeting which will be held at their mission center after a couple of years. They also agreed to distribute around 100 to 200 flower pots to neighboring churches within their association to rear flowers for the upcoming programme. The Department also discussed the dress code for the different occasion and resolved to finalize about it in the next board meeting. President and Executive member of every church under LBA attended the meeting. The programme was sponsored by the women Department. National Science Day at Tsg Tuensang, April 19 (MExN): The celebration of National Science Day District Level seminar was held on April 19 at GHSS Tuensang Auditorium with a theme ‘Science and Technology for specially Abled Person.’ Altogether, eleven participants from different schools participated where Deepika Rai from Akum Imlong School Tuensang got the first position while Thonglem Chongbou of Mt. Carmel School and Kushe Shiu from St. Joseph’s School Tuensang bagged the second and third position respectively. The panel of judges was Konthunglo Ngullie, VP GHSS Thangjam Tuensang and Keneile- u Suokhrie PGT GHSS Tuensang. The programme was chaired by C. Hechila GT GHSS Thangjam. Jungdan PT GHSS Tuensang invoked God’s blessing while vote of thanks was pronounced by Chemtongpila.
