Neiba Ndang resigns from NCP Dimapur, April 20 (MExN): Neiba Ndang, the National Secretary of The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has tendered his resignation from the post as well as from the active and primary membership of the party. The former Speaker and Minister of Nagaland Legislative Assembly attributed his resignation to “unavoidable circumstances” in a letter addressed to NCP National President on April 17.     Schools informed to collect Pre-Matric Scholarship (ST) form Dimapur, April 20 (MExN): All the head of the institutions of both Government and Private school are informed to collect the Pre-Matric Scholarship (ST) form for class 9 & 10 before April 29 from the District Education Office, Half-Nagarjan, Dimapur. While collecting the form, the schools are also requested to come with the total number of ST students enrolled in the school during 2017-18 academic years, a press note from the Dy. District Education Officer R.Amongla Jamir said.     DUCCF Informs Dimapur, April 20 (MExN): The Dimapur Urban Council Chairmen Federation (DUCCF) has informed all the beneficiaries / applicants of ‘Housing for All’ schemes of Ward No. 3 Colonies to report at DMÇ Office on April 21, between 10AM to 3 PM for verification. Colonies' chairmen are also requested to inform the beneficiaries, said a DUCCF press note.     Open hearing on human rights Kohima, April 20 (DIPR): The Home Department in a correspondence informed that the National Human Rights Commission will be organizing a ‘One Day Open Hearing’ on various issues relating to atrocities and problems faced by Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes on April 24, at Administrative Training Centre, Kohima.     NBSE postpones teacher Induction Training Kohima, April 20 (DIPR): The Nagaland Board of School Education in a notification informed that due to certain unavoidable circumstances, the Induction Training Programme scheduled to be held from 25th April 2017 at Mayangnokcha GHSS, Mokokchung for Secondary Teachers freshly recruited under RMSA 2016-17 and posted in the districts of Mokokchung, Longleng, Tuensang and Zunheboto, has been postponed till further notice. The new date shall be notified later.     NNC GDRN (N/A) termniates one Dimapur, April 20 (MExN): The NNC GDRN (N/A) has terminated one Inaho Chophy of Yehemi Village, Zunheboto District, a Kilonser, from active “national service for indulging in anti-national activities and misappropriation of funds.” “Hence, Offices and business establishments entertaining Inaho Chophy would be doing so at their own risk,” MIP NNC GDRN (N/A) informed in a press note.     FONSESA elects new team   Kohima, April 20 (MExN): The Confederation of Nagaland State Engineering Service Association (FONSESA) has announced its new team of office bearers with Er. Yhusinlu Tep (APHEN) as president. This was announced during the annual general conference of FONSESA here at Capital Convention Centre on April 19 last. Other office bearers include; vice president- Er. Limanaro (AOE- PWD) and Er. Thepfusalie Angami (IDEA), secretary general-Er. Mhonlumo Kikon (APEN), joint secretaries- Er. Neilabeizo (AOE-PWD), Er.
