
NSCN (R) apprises depts., businesses in Kohima Dimapur, April 22 (MExN): The Ministry of Chaplee Affairs of NSCN (R) today asked all the departments and business establishments under Kohima district not to entertain any kind of donations or revenues, without proper verification from official assignee. “Hence, request all concern to contact Khampai, Deputy Kilonser, who was officially assigned to supervise the Chaplee affairs of Kohima district,” the MIP NSCN (R) informed in a press release. It further cautioned “all persons collecting donations and taxes in the name of NSCN (R) to refrain from such activities” failing which it would take appropriate actions. 36 AR evacuates accident victims Dimapur, April 22 (MExN): The 36 Assam Rifles under the aegis of Headquarters 6 Sector, on April 21, helped evacuate two critically injured civilians from Jalukie town to Dimapur. The incident occurred when the three civilians travelling in a motorcycle collided with a Tata Sumo in Jalukie Town in the afternoon. On seeing the critical condition of the injured civilians and lack of transportation, the civil authorities approached the Assam Rifles for immediate evacuation of victims to Dimapur, an AR press note informed. The Assam Rifles promptly responded to the request and provided immediate medical assistance and an ambulance, it added. AR arrest ‘suspected’ NSCN (K) cadre Kiphire, April 22 (MExN): One “suspected” NSCN (K) cadre was arrested by the 7 Assam Rifles from Pungro road junction in Kiphire on April 19. According to a defence release, the suspected NSCN cadre identified as Yitelmpa Yaden (43 years) was travelling in a bus from Kiphire to Kohima. The apprehended cadre was handed over to Kiphire Police Station for further investigation, the release informed. ZWUD gets new team of office bearers Chumukedima, April 22 (MExN): The Zapami Welfare Union Dimapur (ZWUD) organized its get together programme on April 22 at Kuzhami Baptist Church, Chumukedima. A new team of office bearers for the Tenure (2017 -2020) also took charge on the occasion.
