Attendance mandatory at R-Day function: DC Dimapur

Dimapur, January 23 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel has informed all heads of departments/offices under Dimapur district that the attendance at the Republic Day function will be mandatory. Attendance of all departmental officers and staff of the district will be taken at DDSC Stadium at 9:00 am on January 26, he said in a press release, adding the attendance sheet should be handed over to the ADC Dimapur. Hence, all heads of departments/offices have been requested to inform their officers and staff to attend the function without fail. Further, it was informed that all markets and shops will remain closed till 12:00 noon on the day.  

DC Kohima informs HoDs and awardees

Kohima, January 23 (DIPR): Deputy Commissioner of Kohima, Rajesh Soundararajan (IAS) has informed all HoDs and awardees to collect their invitation cards and car passes from Establishment Branch, Deputy Commissioner’s office, Kohima on January 24 and 25 from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm. All AHoDs officers posted at the Secretariat may collect their invitation cards and car passes from Under Secretary, GAB-II Home Department, T. Khonsungo Ngullie.  

Free anti rabies vaccination

Zunheboto, January 23 (MExN): On the occasion of Republic Day, January 26, the CVO Zunheboto office is organizing free anti rabies vaccination for animal lovers/kindness groups along with free distribution of anthelmentics, medicines, tonic & vitamins to animal farmers in Zunheboto and Pughoboto at respective local grounds. Therefore, CVO of Zunheboto, Dr. Toshi Aier has informed the public to avail of the facility on the given day. Any major surgical/ operative cases will be treated as usual only at respective hospital and dispensary, it added.  

NPF 37 Tuyi A/C officials resign

Wokha, January 23 (MExN): The officials and workers of NPF 37 Tuyi A/C totaling 274 people today officially declared to resign from Naga People’s Front (NPF) and pledged to support former Home Minister Y Patton, who recently joined BJP, today in Wokha, stated a press release. Speaking during the “mass resignation programme,” Patton said he left the NPF due to party crisis and disunity and clarified that BJP is the hope for the Nagas at this juncture for more development and progress. Those who resigned today included top party functionaries, party workers, women wing, youth wing and village unit party workers.  

School Education director informs

Kohima, January 23 (DIPR): Director of School Education, Wonthungo Tsopoe in a notification on January 18 informed all DEOs, Sr. SDEOs, SDEOs, Principals and Headmasters to submit the below listed information of their respective establishments to his office before February 9, 2018: Official email ID, official mobile number, office contact number, name of Head of Office, personal mobile number of HoO. Those establishments which do not possess official email ID have been asked to create the same and submit the information within the due date. The information should be submitted through email at director.se.nagaland@gmail.com.
