
AR apprehend alleged arms dealer Dimapur, July 1 (MExN): 32 Assam Rifles along with police representative launched an operation in Thilixu, Dimapur and apprehended one person with six weapons and ammunitions on July 1. The operation was launched based on specific information regarding presence of arms dealer, according to a press release from Assam Rifles. The apprehended has been identified as Vishiho Chopi (36). He along with the recovered arms and ammunitions were handed over to Diphupar Police Station, Dimapur for further investigation, it added. NSF on CSAB NEUT-2017 Kohima, July 1 (MExN): The Naga Students' Federation (NSF) has informed all the candidates of JEE (main) 2017 that for registration of CSAB NEUT-2017 to avail the state quota seat, the Federation “shall allow only the Naga indigenous inhabitants to appear against the allotted seat for the State of Nagaland.” NSF through its Secretary Education, Muphatho Nyuthe in a press release appealed to the authority conducting the examination to thoroughly verify the candidates and disallow non-indigenous students to appear the examination. According to a press release from MIP Kilonser of NNC/GDRN (NA), he has been summoned for “mismanagement and misuse of Government funds at Kohima.” The release warned that stringent action will be initiated against him if he fails to abide by the notice. “Having notified you on previous occasions, the government shall not grant you any reprieve after this notification,” it added. WCYO informs on membership Dimapur, July 1 (MExN): Western Chakhesang Youth Organization (WCYO) has informed all the Chakhesang youth between 18-45 years of age residing in its jurisdiction that a yearly membership fee for the year 2017 will be collected. The membership enrolment is mandatory for every Chakhesang youth residing under WCYO jurisdiction, stated a press release from WCYO vice president, Nukuzo Vero.
