Food safety discussed in Zunheboto Zunheboto, July 2 (MExN): A co-ordination meeting between Food Safety Wing, Chief Medical Officer (CMO) office, Zunheboto and officials of Zunheboto Chamber of Commerce & Industries (ZCCI) was held on June 28 at CMO office chamber here. Dr. G. Hokishe Sema, CMO cum Designated Officer apprised on the strict maintenance of hygiene of food handlers and kitchen of restaurants and hotels in Zunheboto Town. He also stressed on the importance of obtaining FSSAI License/ Registration by the FBOs. A discussion was also held on bringing about mass awareness of food safety in the district. The meeting was attended by Dr. G. Hokishe Sema, CMO, Sukumlo, FSO & Shikahoto Jakha, President, ZCCI along with his colleagues. LJP Nagaland supports 18-point agreement Dimapur, July 2 (MExN): The Lok Janshakti Party (LJP), Nagaland State has resolved to support the 18-point agreement on Clean Election signed by political parties under the aegis of NBCC. The decision was made at the party’s meeting held on July 1, according to a press release from Manthungo Odyuo, Chief General Secretary, LJP Nagaland State. “Though the LJP Nagaland was not intimated in this regard, the Party in Nagaland also extends unconditional support of the amendment of resolution on Clean Election,” the release said. During the meeting, the LJP also discussed various issues facing the State and certain policies and programmes for the upcoming Nagaland State assembly election which is scheduled to be held in 2018.
