DIC Dimapur informs PMEGP applicants Dimapur, July 17 (MExN): The District Industries Centre (DIC) Dimapur has informed all the PMEGP applicants for the year 2017-18 that the interview for the Dimapur district is fixed on July 20 for DIC, July 21 for NKVIB and July 22 for KVIV. A press note from the DIC General Manager P Tokugha Achumi informed that the interviews will commence from 10AM onwards at the Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner Dimapur on the aforesaid dates. All the applicants are to produce their original documents during the interview and no separate calling letter will for issued for the interview, it added.     Mon DPDB meeting held   Mon, July 17 (DIPR): The monthly Mon District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held on July 15 in the conference hall of Deputy Commissioner, Mon. Various work assignments were entrusted to different departments for Independence Day celebration in Mon during the meeting. Meanwhile, co-ordination meeting for work distribution in connection with the Independence Day, 2017 celebration was also held with security officials and teachers of different schools. It was decided that march past practice for the contingents will commence on August 8.     Presiding officers of bye-election trained   Kohima, July 17 (DIPR): Training for presiding officers of the 10th Northern Angami-I Assembly Constituency bye-election was held on July 17 with the Deputy Commissioner and Returning Officer Kohima, Rajesh Soundararajan (IAS) at DPDB Hall, Kohima. Highlighting the importance of election process, the DC said elections have been the fundamental function vested upon “us” as a Government servant. He asked the trainees to maintain uniformity in the election process as per the rules of Election Commission of India and asked them to give due attention to the new guidelines as election process keeps changing from time to time. Sharing his past experiences, he encouraged the officials that taking part in election process is a privilege and also a huge responsibility bestowed upon them. He urged them to stick to the guidelines to make it a clean and fair election and also called upon them to give their best for the successful conduct of the bye-election.     World War pensioners informed   Kohima, July 17 (MExN): The First World War and Second World War pensioners of Nagaland have been informed to submit documents to the Nagaland State Freedom Fighter office, near Hotel Japfü, Kohima. The documents are to be submitted along with medal and designation with due recommendation through proper channel. This was informed in a press release issued by Joint Secretary, Information Centre, Nagaland State Freedom Fighter office.
