Verification of requisitioned vehicles postponed Dimapur, January 30 (MExN): The verification of requisitioned vehicles by Deputy Commissioner & DEO, Dimapur for General Election has been postponed. The owner/driver of requisitioned vehicles need not report to the State Stadium, Dimapur on February 1, the DC & DEO Sushil Kumar Patel stated in a press release, adding the new date shall be intimated soon.   Arms license holders in Kohima informed Kohima, January 30 (MExN): Office of the Superintendent of Police, Kohima has informed that all arms license holders in the district of Kohima are to submit their licenses to the respective Police Stations for verification within seven days from the issue of the notice. “Failure to comply with this order shall invite legal proceedings under the Arms Act, 1959 and may be liable to cancellation of the arms license,” stated a notification from Aotemsu (IPS), Sr. Superintendent of Police, Kohima.   DMC informs on license renewal Dimapur, January 30 (MExN): The Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has in a circular informed all hand cart/ rickshaw/ chat trolley/ ice cream trolley/ sugarcane juicer trolley/ bi-cycle owners that renewal of DMC registration certificate/license for the year 2018 will commence from February 1. Hence, all have been directed to renew their respective license within March 31 and also obtain new number plate on deposit of requisite fees. The circular was issued by Moa Sangtam, Administrator, DMC.   Final publication of e-roll in Phek Phek, January 30 (DIPR): ADC & ERO of Phek, K. Mhathung Tsanglao has notified for public information that the list of amendment to the final electoral roll for the 16- Pfutsero, 17- Chizami, 18- Chozuba, 19- Phek and 20- Meluri Assembly Constituencies has been prepared with reference to January 1, 2018 as the qualifying date and in accordance with the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960. A copy of the e-roll together with said list of amendments has been published and will be available for inspection at the office of the ADC during office hours.   WTC notifies on renewal of trade permit Wokha, January 30 (DIPR): Administrator of Wokha Town Council (WTC), Nokchasashi has informed all shops and business establishment owners of Wokha Town to get their trade permit renewed for the year 2018-19 from the office of WTC within February 1, 2018 during office hour. Any shop and business establishments running without trade permit have also been directed to obtain the same within the stipulated time. Defaulters shall be penalized as per the provision of law, he cautioned.   NSCN (R) UT-1 discharges one Dimapur, January 30 (MExN): The NSCN (Reformation) UT-1 has “force discharged” one of its cadres identified as Leacy Hutoshe from the “active national service” with immediate effect. The NSCN (R) UT-1 through a press release from MIP, NSCN (R) stated Hutoshe was found indulging in “anti- social activities” which is against the ‘Yehzabo’ of the government. It further informed the general public not to entertain him in any way relating to the matter of government. Meanwhile, Kilonser and Supervisor of UT-1, Khekato Kinny informed all concerned under UT-1 jurisdiction not to entertain any financial matter without the consent and knowledge of its supervisor.
