KMC directive on use of SBM logo Kohima, July 29 (DIPR): The Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) Administrator, Kethosituo Sekhose has notified the general public and Ward Panchayats to adhere to the directives and Guidelines issued in connection with the using of Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) Logo during SBM (Gramin) campaign. The notification further directed them to use the logo carefully and in a dignified manner and ensure that sketches, photos, picture and logo of Mahatma Gandhi or his belongings (Glass, Charkha, Stick, Watch etc.,) are not to be displayed on the walls of public toilets, garbage bins and filthy places. Two terminated by FGN Dimapur, July 29 (MExN): The Federal Government of Nagaland has issued a “Termination Ahza” for two of its members on the ground of “anti-Government activities”. The two, identified as Hutoi Yeptho, Razapeyu, and Ito Yeptho, Under Secretary, have been terminated from active national service with immediate effect, a press release from the office of the FGN’s Midan Peyu, Sumi Region informed. 1272 bottles of assorted liquor seized Dimapur, July 29 (MExN): The Special Surveillance Team of the Excise (Mobile Squad), on July 28 raided several places in Purana Bazar, highway and town area, and seized 1272 bottles of assorted liquor. The seized articles have been put in the Mobile Squad Unit Malkhana. Meanwhile, the Superintendent (MS) of Excise, Katoho Sumi has appealed to all and sundry for feedback to the Excise department in matters relating to illegal storage, transportation, possession, and sale or consumption of liquor. Such information will be highly appreciated, the SP of Excise stated in a press release. The Department is ready to act on the same at any given point of time, the release added.
