Power disrupted in Kohima Our Correspondent Kohima | August 1 The state capital Kohima today witnessed power failure in the main town area for almost three hours, beginning 4:00 pm. The power was restored by around 7:00 pm. The cause for power failure was yet to be ascertained at the time of filing this report. Vehicles entry to Kohima DC office to be restricted on August 3 Kohima, August 1 (DIPR): Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, Rajesh Soundararajan, IAS, has in view of the counting of votes of the bye-election to be taken up on August 3 from 8:00 am onwards informed that the entry of vehicles to the office of the Deputy Commissioner and Returning Officer, Kohima will be restricted from 6:00 am onwards till the completion of the counting process. All concerned have been directed to take note of the restriction and adhere to the same. NSCN (IM) mourns Dimapur, August 1 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has expressed shock over the demise of Lt. Col. Hopeson Saka of Hothrong brigade, Naga Army at Imphal Hospital on August 1. “He has been serving the nation with utmost sincerity and dedication till his last breath. The NSCN/GPRN shall always cherish his sacrificial service rendered to the sacred cause of the nation with pride and honor,” stated a condolence message from DG Robert, Cabinet Secretary to the GPRN.
