PHED informs public
DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 10 (MExN): The PHED Urban Dicision Dimapur has informed that the RCC Over Head lndze Tank located at Naharbari has outlived its life span and chances of collapsing are “eminent” due to weak foundation. As such, the PHED in collaboration with the Naharbari village Council and in coordination with the Power department and Traffic Police has fixed the date of demolishing the above said tank from October 11 to 14. During the period from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Naharbari road will be blocked from plying of vehicles and power supply will be cut-off, a press note from the EE, PHED, Dimapur Urban Division. Outgoing vehicle can take the road towards Darogapathar village and incoming vehicles can take the road via Padum Pukhri circular road. It further asked the public to bear with the inconvenience.
Graduate teachers asked to submit marksheets
Dimapur, October 10 (MExN): In continuation earlier notification, State Graduate Teachers have been directed to submit Graduation Mark Sheet for reconstruction of Graduate Teachers Seniority list. Former Graduate Primary Teachers are also directed to submit up-gradation of post /conversion from Primary post to Graduate Teacher post orders along with educational documents from Matric onward on or before October 23.
NSCN (IM) condoles
Dimapur, October 10 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has expressed sadness over the untimely demise of Saro Haile on October 10 in Senapati after a prolonged illness. Late Haile joined the national service on December 12, 1997 and has been serving as a Tatar till his death, informed a condolence note from DG Robert Cabinet Secretary to GPRN. “At this hour of grief and sorrow, the Nation extends its deepest and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prays the Almighty to grant solace to the departed soul,” it added.
