WSSU meeting on January 9
Dimapur, January 7 (MExN): The Western Sumi Students’ Union (WSSU) has convened a meeting on January 9 at 10:00 a.m. at the office of the Western Sumi Hoho, 3rd Mile Chekiye Village. All the executives, planning board committee, programme committee and reception committee of the 37th Biennial Conference are requested to attend the meeting without fail.
CBCC youth fest from Jan 15
Kohima, January 7 (MExN): The youth department of the Chakhesang Baptist Church Council (CBCC) is all set to hold its youth fest from January 15 to 17 at Chozuba town. The youth fest will be hosted by Chozuba Area Baptist Youth Department. The speakers of the youth fest includes: Rev. Dr. Vezopa Tetseo, Executive Secretary CBCC, Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho, General Secretary NBCC, Rev. Dr. Razouselie Lasetso, Professor ETC Jorhat, and Vikuo Rhi, Youth Secretary NBCC. The three day long youth fest will be marked by camp devotion, self evaluation service, theme song and indigenous competition, inspirational service, camp devotion, covenantal service, youth celebration, committal service, launching of youth year 2016 etc.
JBCCTK Conference from Jan 9
Kohima, January 7 (MExN): The Japfuphiki Baptist Church Council Thepfuko Krotho(JBCCTK - Men department) will hold its First General Conference at Jakhama Baptist Church on January 9 and 10 with Rev. Zapovil Sophie, President ABCC, Rev. Ketsozeho Sale, Pastor Neise Angami and Kehovi Tase as speakers. Talent Night will be held on January 9 while singing competition both choir and solo will be held on January 10 afternoon. Rev. Puthavil Neikha, Dr. Dietho-o Yhoshu, Rev. Dr. Mechiehol Savi and Mr. Saphrul Pucho would be speaker for the seminar on various topics. Delegates are requested to reach the venue and register on January 9 at 8.00 a.m., a press release received here informed.

Dimapur, January 7 (MExN): Dimapur Deputy Commissioner, Kesonyu Yhome, has informed all Administrative Officers and Heads of Department under Dimapur District that a meeting is fixed on Tuesday, January 12, at 11 a.m. in the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur to chalk out the programmes for the celebration of the ensuing Republic Day on January 26. All concerned are requested to attend the meeting, a press release from the DC stated.
