BJP meeting today Dimapur, January 30 (MExN): All the frontal chief and senior leaders of the BJP have been informed that there will be a meeting on January 31, 11 a.m. at Hotel Jafü, Kohima with the party national secretary and in-charge of Nagaland Farooq Khan and all the MLAs, state office bearers, district presidents, former national executive member (NEM), ex-president. Therefore, BJP Nagaland office secretary Lachit Kachari has requested all members to attend the meeting positively.  

  Donation, selling of lotteries banned in Kuhuboto Dimapur, January 30 (MExN): The Kuhuboto Ghakhu Public Organization (KGPO) has banned all kinds of donation, selling of lotteries, calendars etc under the jurisdiction of Kuhuboto with immediate effect. This was decided during the executive council meeting of KGPO held on January 22 at KGPO hall, Kuhuboto Town. A press release from KGPO President Ghoshito Shohe and General Secretary Z. Ato has informed all citizens under Kuhuboto area to keep away from any sort of donations, lotteries, calendars etc. Meanwhile, the Village Councils, churches, student unions, societies, club etc were informed to strictly maintain the same till further order.     Handing over ceremony of NWP on Feb 2 Kohima, January 30 (DIPR): The Department of Soil & Water Conservation in a circular has informed that the handing over ceremony of the Nagaland Water Policy to the Government of Nagaland by GIZ is scheduled to be held on February 2 at 11 a.m. at de Oriental Grand, Kohima. Chief Secretary, Nagaland, Pankaj Kumar IA has consented to grace the ceremony as the chief guest. During the handing over ceremony, presentation on how the Nagaland Water Policy was drafted and power point presentation on CCA-NER Project will be presented by GIZ. In this regard, all the Water Resource Committee Members, Sub-Committee Members of the respective Departments, all concerned line Departments and stakeholders/NGOs have been invited to attend the programme without fail.     KUD 28th Annual Session Dimapur, January 30 (MExN): The Khiamniungan Union Dimapur (KUD) will be holding its 28th Annual General Session at 10 a.m. on February 6 at Agri Expo, 4th Mile, Dimapur. A press release from the KUD informing this has asked all the Khiamniungan people residing within Dimapur district to attend the general session in “traditional attires”. After the formal programme, there will be mass cultural dance led by the Khiamniungan Cultural Club (KCC) Dimapur, the release added. Further the release informed that an Executive meeting will be held at 10 a.m. on February 2 at the residence of the Treasurer. All the executive members and colony coordinators have been requested to attend the meeting.     Transformation Crusades at Kohima, Phek Kohima, January 30 (MExN): Phek Town Churches (all denominations) Pastors Fellowship will be organising a Transformation Crusade at Phek Town Local Ground from February 4 to 7 with the theme “Arise & Shine” (Isaiah 60:1). According to a press release from the Publicity Committee Transformation Crusade, the vision of the crusade is to “deliver the youth from satanic worship”, to raise young men and women of God for mission and to bring physical healing and revival in all the churches. In Kohima, the Transformation Crusade will be held from February 24 to March 6 at Local Ground.
