GPRN/NSCN terminates one Dimapur, February 9 (MExN): The office of Camp Commander, Designated Camp (Khehoi) has terminated the service of Corpl. Nothuto, bearing A/No. 18030, under Angami Region from active service of GPRN/NSCN Naga Army for “committing anti national activities which is utterly against the Azha of the nation.” This was informed in a press release issued by MIP, GPRN/NSCN.  

  Up-gradation of Diesel Mechanic Trade today Dimapur, February 9 (DIPR): ‘Up-gradation of Diesel Mechanic Trade’, a joint initiative of the Govt. of Nagaland & TATA Motors, will be inaugurated on February 10, 10:00 am at Government ITI, Kohima with Chief Minister TR Zeliang as the chief guest and S. Ramadorai, Chairman, National Skill Development Corporation & National Skill Development Agency as the guest of honour. Mmhonlumo Kikon, Parliamentary Secretary, Labour 8 Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship and Border Affairs will also be present at the event.     ANSTA appeals for fair HSLC exam, wishes students Dimapur, February 9 (MExN): The All Nagaland School Teachers’ Association (ANSTA) has extended best wishes to all the students appearing HSLC Examination 2016 starting February 10. A press release from ANSTA President, Ponchulo Wanth further urged all the examinees to be more serious in study, abide by the NBSE Examination Conduct of Rules and abstain from indulging in any form of unfair means as it entails expulsion. Meanwhile, the Association appealed to all the invigilators to be strict and vigil while performing invigilation duty and ensure that examination is conducted well under them.     CCLC consultative meeting Kohima, February 9 (MExN): A consultative meeting of all the officials of the Chokri Chakhesang Literature Committee (CCLC) has been scheduled on February 13, 10:00 am in the private residence of Zaveyi Nyekha (Vice Chairman, CCLC), near Monkhola Bridge, Kohima. Therefore, CCLC officials and members of the Advisory Board and CCGTC have been requested to attend the meeting.     DAN legislators from Dmp to meet Dimapur, February 9 (MExN): The co-ordination meeting of DAN legislators of Dimapur district, organized by Naga People’s Front (NPF), Dimapur division, will be held on February 13, 11:00 am at the NPF office premises in Landmark Colony, Dimapur. In this regard, all the NPF office bearers of Dimapur division and frontals, the five assembly constituencies, and central office bearers from Dimapur district have been requested to attend the meeting.     LBPC annual fasting & prayer held Wokha, February 9 (MExN): The Lotha Baptist Pastors’ Conference (LBPC) met for two days, February 8 and 9, at the Lotha Baptist Pastors’ Mission Compound, Vankhosung, Wokha for fasting and prayer. A press release from LBPC president, Khonpemo P Kikon informed that the two days of fasting and prayer is an annual affair and is held every year in the 2nd week of February. Around 75 pastors as young as 25 years and as old as 80 years of age from seventy different churches attended the two days programme, it added.     Quarantine Check Post to be inaugurated at Lotovi Dimapur, February 9 (MExN): There will be an inauguration programme of Quarantine Check Post at Lotovi village in Dimapur district on February 11, 10:00 am. A press release from Dr. Temsu Ozukum, Chief Veterinary Officer, Dimapur informed that S Chuba Longkumer, Parliamentary Secretary, Veterinary & Animal Husbandry will grace the event as the chief guest.     Razeba Students’ Union meeting Kohima, February 9 (MExN): All the executive members of Razeba Students’ Union (RSU) have been informed that there will be meeting on February 13, 11:00 am at the General Secretary’s residence at A1 Hostel, Kenouzou Colony, DBS Road, Kohima. According to a press release from RSU officials, the meeting has been convened to deliberate on some important issues of the Union and to plan out its annual plan 2016. Therefore, every executive member has been requested to come with agenda to be discussed for the welfare of the union.     TNAI Tuensang unit offers condolences Tuensang, February 9 (MExN): The Trained Nurses’ Association of India (TNAI), Tuensang unit, has sympathized with the family members of T. Narola, Auxiliary Nurse & Mid wife (ANM), who was shot death with her husband in Shamator by unknown person(s) on February 6. “We are saddened and grieved by the loss of a staff who was working in a noble profession of serving humanity,” expressed Chubala, President and Limasungla Aier, General Secretary of TNAI, Tuensang unit. The unit further extended condolences, thoughts, prayers, and well wishes to the family of the deceased.
