On line application for army recruitment mandatory
Kohima, February 11 (MExN): Brigadier KK Roy Choudhury, SM, VSM (Retd), Secretary Rajya Sainik Board and Director Sainik Welfare & Resettlement Nagaland has informed that Army Recruitment Rally will be held at Kohima from April 5 to 7. All aspiring youth of Nagaland are requested to register and apply on line at joinindianarmy.nic.in. Candidates who have already registered during previous rally to login with old user ID and password and apply afresh. Only when a roll number is generated after submission of application that the process is deemed as completed. No candidates will be permitted without on line application and production of Admit Card.
NVBDCP Wokha conducts training
Wokha, February 11 (MExN): The NVBDCP under Wokha District completed the training of District Community Mobilizer, Block ASHA co-ordinators, Block level ASHAs and the NVBDCP field staff on February 2. The training topic included DO’s and Don’ts of LLINS usage, Miking information to the selected villages, pre-distribution, during and Post LLINS distribution to the beneficiaries where API (Annual Parasite Incidence) is above 1 or 2. Dr. Zuben Kikon DVBO apprised all the NVBDCP Staffs, ASHA co-coordinators and ASHAs to diligently and actively participates during LLINS distribution so that, all the house hold receive its share according to the Data which worked out already. The District Vector Borne Officer (NVBDCP) Wokha also informed in a press release that the preparation for LLINS distribution in the district is in progress.
Phek DPDB meeting held
Phek, February 11 (DIPR): The monthly meeting of Phek DPDB meeting was held on February 10 at its conference hall, Phek under the chairmanship of Parliamentary Secretary for Higher Education & Chairman, DBDB, Deo Nukhu. In the meeting, departmental activities was presented by the Department of Agriculture and discussions were held on up-gradation of Christian Mission High School, Phek to Higher Secondary School to be forwarded to higher authorities for necessary consideration. Registration of society in respect of R/O Vekuhu spices producer society at Pholami village under Phek District was recommended and forwarded to the government. Slide show on National Tobacco Control was presented by Nodal Officer, Phek district.
