First level checking in Peren
DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 16 (MExN): The first level checking (FLC) was conducted with all the political party representatives from Peren district on February 16 while the second randomization and preparation of machines will be held on February 17. ADC/RO Peren, Chubawati has informed all the political party representatives to attend the same from 11:00 am onwards at old DC office, Peren.
DC & DEO Dimapur informs on voter’s slip
DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 16 (MExN): DC & DEO, Dimapur Sushil Kumar Patel in a press release informed all voters of Dimapur district that voter’s slip will be distributed from February 18, 1:00 pm onwards through BLOs under supervision and control of Sector Officers and Returning Officers. The press release also stated that the undistributed voter’s slip for ASD (absentee, shifted and death) voters shall be returned to respective Returning Officer from February 21 onwards.
Orientation for Dimapur district BLOs
DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 16 (MExN): DC & DEO, Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel has informed all the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) of Dimapur district that there will be a training-cum-orientation in connection with conduct of election, 2018 on February 17 in the conference hall of the Commissioner of Taxes, Dimapur near DC office, Dimapur per the scheduled below: 11:00 am – 1-Dimapur-1 & 3-Dimapur-III A/Cs; 12:00 noon – 2-Dimapur-II & 5-Ghaspani-II; 1:00 pm – 4-Ghaspani-I A/C. The DC has directed all the BLOs to attend positively.
DC Zunheboto directs arms license holders
DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 16 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of Zunheboto, Tridibesh Roy has directed all the arms license holders under Zunheboto district to deposit their arms at the nearest police station against proper receipt for such deposit on or before February 20, 2018. Failure to comply with the directives issued will lead to cancellation of the arms license(s) or any appropriate penal action as per the rules in force.
