Liquor seized from Peducha check gate
Kohima, February 26 (MExN): Kohima Excise personnel while performing Election Expenditure Monitoring (EEM) duty recovered 559 bottles of assorted IMFL from a passenger bus bearing Regd. No. AS 1C- 2222 at Peducha check gate on February 24. A press release from Tarep Imchen, Commissioner of Excise & Prohibition, Nagaland informed that a case has been registered in this regard under the NLTP Act 1989.
Legal Services Camp at Mitelephe on Feb 28
KOHIMA, February 26 (MExN): Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA) is organizing Legal Services Camp under NALSA’s Legal Services Camp Module at the assembly hall of Government Primary School, Mitelephe on February 28, 10:00 am onwards. The camp will provide medical assistance by Dr. Pusasul Martin, General Physician and nurses, while medicine will also be provided after examination. Officials of Labour Department will be present for spot registration of workers in unorganized sector under the Nagaland Building and Other Construction Workers scheme. Awareness on various government schemes and legal aid will be rendered by NSLSA Panel Lawyers. It may be mentioned that Mitelephe village is located in Kezocha Tehsil Circle of Kohima district, approximately 20 kilometers away from Kohima Town.
