CM Chang convenes committee meeting
Kohima, May 5 (MExN): CM Chang, Chairman, Committee on Petition has fixed the introductory meeting of the Committee on Petition on May 20, 11am in the Committee Room of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat. All members of the Committee on Petition (2016-17) have been requested to attend the same positively.
Zunheboto DPDB meeting

CCRCYF renamed
Pfutsero, May 5 (MExN): Chakhesang CRC youth department has changed its nomenclature from the existing Chakhesang Christian Revival Youth Fellowship (CCRCYF) to Chakhesang Christian Revival Church Youth Association (CCRCYA). The change in nomenclature has been made as per the resolution of the first general meeting of Chakhesang Christian Revival Church youth executive office bearers and youth directors in Pfutsero Town CRC on February 13, 2016 and approved by the Council of Chakhesang Christian Revival Churches at the executive committee meeting held at Khezhakeno Lower CRC on February 24 and 25, 2016. A press release from CCRCYA President, Veshe Chizo has stated that henceforth, CCRCYA will be used for all official correspondence and other purposes.
AAY food-grains in Kohima
Kohima, May 5 (MExN): The office of the Assistant Director of Food & Civil Supplies, Kohima, Nagaland, has informed all the Fair Price Shops/village councils of Kohima Centre that the AAY food-grains will be released from May 9 to 11 between 10:30am and 4pm. In a press release, Kapenlo Thong, the Assistant Director directed the FPS/village councils concerned to collect their respective quota within the stipulated period.
Free admission counseling, career guidance in Kohima
Dimapur, May 5 (MExN): Libra Consultancy is organizing a free admission counseling and career guidance on May 9 from 10am to 2pm at Angami Students Union Office, Kohima, near All India Radio Station. Libra Consultancy is the education wing of India Northeast Tribal Community Welfare Society (INTCWS), Notun Basti Dimapur. To avail the free services, students and parents have been asked to bring photocopies of documents along with passport-sized photographs.
Ex-servicemen/widows of Assam Regiment informed
Dimapur, May 5 (MExN): The Platinum Jubilee celebration of the Assam Regiment will be held at the Assam Regimental Centre, Shillong from November 16 to 19, 2016. Therefore, all ex-servicemen/widows of Assam Regiment of Dimapur, Peren, and Mon districts interested in attending the celebrations have been requested to register their names in Zila Sainik Welfare office (Sainik Bhawan) in Dimapur immediately. This was informed in a press release issued by Col TNK Singh (Retd), Zila Sainik Welfare Officer.
MSME units informed
Dimapur, May 5 (MExN): Br. MSME-DI located at Industrial Estate Old Complex, Diphu Road, Dimapur is collecting MSME data to be entered in the MSME Data Bank. Therefore, Deputy Director In-charge of Br. MSME-DI, Tali Longchar has invited existing MSME Units which have the registration of EM II from DIC Office to bring their Aadhaar Card, Bank Account number, Pan Card, Udyog Aadhaar if any and email details along with their EM II registration card. Registering in the MSME Data Bank will help in availing the schemes provided by the Government of India for the benefit of MSEs units, said Longchar in a press release.
Emlo-To joint meeting
Dimapur, May 5 (MExN): The Emlo-To Students' Union has convened a meeting with the Emlo-To Joint Council and Staffs of Emlo-To Middle school, at the residence of Khehokhu Kiba, GB, Emlo on May 14. According to a press release from the Emlo-To Students' Union, the first meeting will be held between the Union and the Joint council at 9am. The meeting with the Staffs of GMS will be held at 1pm.
