Dimapur DCC extends support to CCN Dimapur, May 11 (MExN): The District Congress Committee Dimapur has extended their solidarity with the Concern Citizens of Nagaland (CCN) to campaign against the deplorable road conditions in Nagaland on May 14. A press release from the DCC Dimapur informing this appealed to all party workers to co-operate with the Concern Citizens of Nagaland by participating in the campaign.     Cash relief disbursed to victims of cyclonic storm Mangkolemba, May 11 (DIPR): A team of Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) along with the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Mokokchung, on May 11 distributed relief to the affected villages under Mangkolemba Sub Division caused by the cyclonic storm on May 1.The distribution program was held at ADC office, Mangkolemba. ADC Mangkolemba, Imtiwapang Aier thanked the Chief Minister and the Chairman, NSDMA for taking immediate initiatives. Meanwhile, the village council members and the different ward authorities, Mangkolemba, also thanked Home Minister and NSDMA for the immediate response and disbursement of cash relief to the villagers.  

  ANSTA Peren stands with central ANSTA Peren, May 11 (MExN): The All Nagaland School Teacher’s Association Peren district has extended support to the central ANSTA ultimatum submitted to the government of Nagaland demanding bifurcation of Higher Secondary, High School and Primary school. Urging the government to look into the matter and immediately bifurcate the three units, the Peren unit of the ANSTA stated, “There is no reason why these three Units should not be bifurcated viz, Higher Secondary, high school and Primary school.”     9-Kohima ACCC calls for meeting Kohima, May 11 (MExN): The 9-Kohima Town Assembly Constituency Congress Committee (ACCC) has convened a meeting on May 13, 2:30pm at Congress Bhavan Conference Hall with all its frontal bodies, National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), Mahila, Assembly Youth Congress (AYC). A press release requested all office bearers of the frontal bodies to attend the meeting.     ANGDA Wokha Unit meeting cum election Wokha, May 11 (MExN): The All Nagaland Government Drivers Association (ANGDA) Wokha Unit has convened a meeting on May 14, 10am at Treasurer's Residence, Tsumang ‘A’ Colony Wokha. During the meeting, election/selection for new office bearers for the tenure 2016-19 will be conducted, a press release from the ANGDA Wokha Unit Acting President, Vinoto Aye, informed. The association requested all members to bring their membership for the year 2016. Further directing all members to attend the meeting, the release warned that a fine of Rs. 200 would be imposed on those failing to attend.     ANSTA Dimapur general meeting Dimapur, May 11 (MExN): The Dimapur Unit of All Nagaland School Teachers’ Association (ANSTA) has convened a general meeting on May 13, 10am at Conference Hall, Acacia Hotel, Dimapur with all categories of Government School teachers in the District (SSA/RMSA/ANGPTA) to discuss the various issues related to the association. A press release from the association has requested Head Teachers and Teachers-in-charge to depute at least one teacher to the meeting without fail.
