KMC notifies renewal of trade permit in Kohima

Kohima, March 1 (MExN): The Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) has directed all banks, schools, colleges, business establishments, contracting firms/agencies, clinics/ pharmacies, hostels, guest house, hotels, restaurants, tuition/coaching centres etc. under the KMC jurisdiction to renew their trade permits or apply for fresh permits before March 31. Failure to do so will attract penalties as per the Nagaland Municipal Act 2001 which may even lead to closure of the defaulting establishment, according to a release received here. In a separate release, KMC administrator Kethosituo Sekhose informed all the 19 ward panchayat chairman and sanitation committee that there will be a joint meeting on March 6 at 3:00 PM at KMC office to discuss issue on sanitation/SBM related matters and use of solid waste management facilities at Lerie with the Ramky representative. All the concerned have been requested to attend the same positively.  

Restrictions inside counting hall

Mokokchung, March 1 (DIPR): Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer Mokokchung, Sachin Jaiswal has notified that the following restrictions shall be maintained inside the counting hall on March 3. Candidates, election and counting agents are allowed to carry only pencil, notepad, ID card and no other items, mobile phones, camera, gadgets are prohibited. The only exception will be the observers; No smoking inside the counting hall; Lady security officer/constable to frisk lady candidates/agents/ officials; Frisking restricted to 200 metres away from counting hall; Videography and photography of entire counting process is allowed for official purpose only.
