Torechu offers condolences Kohima, May 23 (MExN): MLA & Chairman, Nagaland Khadi & Village Industries Board, T Torechu has expressed shock and sadness at the sudden demise of Nikheto Sumi, Head Dobashi of Pungro Town, on May 21. In a condolence note, Torechu remembered Nikheto as a sincere and committed government servant who was posted as Head DB of Pungro ADC HQ since 2014. “His death is indeed a great loss for the people of Pungro sub-division in particular and his immense contribution for the welfare of the people of Pungro Town will always be remembered,” he stated. The MLA further expressed condolences to the bereaved family and also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.     Dimapur DDEO informs Dimapur, May 23 (MExN): The press release which appeared in local dailies for submission of format of teachers and students enrolment was meant for government schools only and not for private schools.   Wokha Police arrest one Wokha, May 23 (DIPR): Acting on a complaint lodged by bank official in connection to missing items from ATM booth in two locations, Wokha Police have arrested one person identified as Mhalamo Ngullie (34). All the stolen items, including four batteries and one UPS, were recovered from the accused. In this connection, a case was registered under Wokha Police Station NO.23/2016 under section 457/380/34 IPC.
