ASU education tour Kohima, May 26 (MExN): The fourth phase education tour of the Angami Students' Union (ASU) will start from May 27. The fourth phase will be concentrated in the Northern Angami Area. A press note issued by Tsiu Seyie, Secretary Education, has informed all the Village Education Council (VEC) in Northern Angami, and the Village leaders that interaction and discussions will be held during the tour. The objective behind the education tour is to cover all government schools at the grassroots to check the performances of the schools and teachers in order to ensure quality education. Social Welfare dept informs Kohima, May 26 (MExN): The Directorate of Social Welfare has informed all the NGOs/Organisations running or managing institutions under Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) sectors to get themselves registered as per guidelines of PWDs Act 1995 with the Director of Social Welfare, Nagaland, Kohima, the Competent Authority for the Act. This was informed in a press note issued by T. Merangtsungba Aier, Director, Social Welfare, Nagaland.
