Body recovered in Dimapur Dimapur, June 3 (MExN): Dimapur Police recovered a dead body near Newfield Check-gate area on June 3. The deceased, a non-Naga male aged around 50 years, has been identified only as ‘Pratap’ and reportedly a resident of Khatkhati, Assam. The body has been kept in the morgue at District Hospital Dimapur for further identification, informed a press release issued by PRO, Dimapur Police. SRF terminates two Tuensang, June 3 (MExN): Sovereign Republic of Freeland (SRF) Central Advisory Board and all tribal unit Presidents of SRF under Tuensang, Mon, Kiphire, and Longleng districts have unanimously resolved to terminate Ahoshe Chang, “self-style” Home Commissioner and Khumo Khiamnungan, General Secretary SRF from their posts with immediate effect from June 2, 2016. Informing this in a press release, SRF President, B. Imlong said that the decision was taken after prolonged deliberation and examination of their involvement in “anti activities and misuse of powers and functions and rules and regulation of SRF.” All individuals, NGOs, organizations, Government officials, departments, both in State & Central, etc have been informed “not to trust and entertain” the duo in any official matters, documentation produced in the name of SRF without the concern of SRF officers.
