DC & DEO Dimapur informs to collect vehicle documents
Dimapur, March 6 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer (DC & DEO) of Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel (IAS) has informed all the owners of autorickshaws/ light vehicles/ Tata Mobiles (pick-up) of Dimapur district that were requisitioned for use in the recent State general election to collect their vehicle documents from the office of DC & DEO, Dimapur during office hours as per dates mentioned below. Autorickshaws and Tata Mobiles (pick-up) – March 8; Light Motor Vehicles (LMV) – March 9.
‘Invigorating Tradition’ – St. Joseph's College Spring Fest
Jakhama, March 6 (MExN): The St. Joseph's College, Jakhama will be celebrating its 5th Spring Fest on March 9 and 10 under the theme ‘Invigorating Tradition’. Assam Rifles apprehend one
Dimapur, March 6 (MExN): Assam Rifles has claimed that its battalion apprehended an individual in possession of illegal arms and ammunition in Longleng Town on March 5. A press release from Lt Col Amitabh Sharma, PRO, HQ IGAR (N) identified the accused as Lungak Phom (49). The recoveries included one .22 mm pistol with magazine, one live round .22 ammunition, one mobile phone and five identity cards, the release stated, adding the apprehended along with the recovered items was handed over to Longleng Police Station for further investigation.
Schools asked to collect sports goods
Kohima, March 6 (DIPR): All the Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) principals and Government High School (GHS) headmasters have been requested to collect the sports goods from the Directorate of School Education, Physical Education Section (ground floor Room No. 4) during office hour from March 10 till April 10. Official seal and signature of the head of institutes will be required to release the sports goods.
AHoDs & HoDs emergency meet
Kohima, March 6 (MExN): An emergency meeting of Administrative Heads of Departments (AHoDs) and Heads of Departments will be held on March 7, 12:00 noon at the Secretariat conference hall in Kohima. A circular issued by the Chief Secretary informed all AHoDs and HoDs to attend the meeting.
Wokha DPDB on March 13
Wokha, March 6 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner and Vice Chairman of DPDB, Wokha, Dr. Manazir Jeelani Samoon (IAS) has informed that the monthly District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting will be held on March 13 at DC conference hall, Wokha. Therefore, all members have been requested to attend the meeting positively.
