
ANAHTA Wokha appeals for release of pending salary Wokha, June 25 (MExN): The All Nagaland Aggrieved Hindi Teachers’ Association (ANAHTA), Wokha unit has appealed to the Department of School Education (DoSE) to release their salaries which have been pending since the beginning of 2016. In a press statement, ANAHTA Wokha unit President stated that due to the non-payment of the salaries, the teachers are facing lots of problems, even to maintain their family and children’s education. It was also mentioned that many teachers are posted in the remote areas of the State and need their salaries to be released on time. In this light, the aggrieved teachers have requested the Directorate of School Education to release the pending salaries upto June 2016 at the earliest. “If our grievances are not redressed, we shall be left with no option but to take our own course of action for which the department shall be held responsible,” the unit warned. AR train NCC cadets Mokokchung, June 25 (MExN): 44 Assam Rifles organised a weapon display cum demonstration on June 21 for 417 NCC cadets undergoing 10 days Annual Training Camp at DEF Colony in Mokokchung. DDGBA inaugurates office Dimapur, June 25 (MExN): Dimapur District GB Association (DDGBA) inaugurated its new office on June 25. In the programme, the DDGBA thanked Kesonyu Yhome, Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur for allocating a room for the office in DC office building. The Association in a press release informed all that the office timing will be every Wednesday, first and third Saturdays every month.
