One arrested with arms Dimapur, September 13 (MExN): Troops of 32 Assam Rifles along with Police representative seized arms and arrested one person during a search operation at Diphupar B on September 8. The arms seized comprised of one .22 pistol with magazine, one .22 Rifles with magazine, one 12 bore shot gun, .22 rounds and 12 bore rounds. According to a press release from Assam Rifles, the apprehended individual identified as Tuloho Sema (47) revealed that he is an active cadre of GPRN/NSCN holding rank of Under Secretary. The apprehended along with the recovered items was later handed over to Diphupar Police Station, Dimapur for further investigation, it added. DNSU informs hostels/PGs to register Dimapur, September 13 (MExN): Office of the Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) has informed all the Government and private hostels, including Paying Guest (PG), within its jurisdiction to register at DNSU office with hostels/PG bio-data. This notification has been issued in a move to “tap the students’ indicators and to keep a check on all the parameters of the hostels in Dimapur,” stated a press release from DNSU. The registration is to be done from September 14-21 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.
