CEO Nagaland notifies Kohima, September 28 (DIPR): Nagaland’s Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) has informed that the Election Commission of India has directed to immediately fill up all vacant posts related to Revision of Rolls. In this regard, he stated that transfer of any officer engaged in Electoral Rolls during the period of Revision should be avoided. In a press release, he further said that the Commission has reiterated its existing direction that officials connected with the exercise of Revision of Electoral Rolls like District Election Officers, Electoral Registration Officers and Assistant Electoral Registration Officers etc. should not be transferred from their places of posting without the prior concurrence of the Election Commission during the period of Special Summary Revision in the state.
