Aadhaar facility in Post Office

Kohima, March 12 (MExN): Office of the Director of Postal Services, Kohima has informed the general public that Aadhaar enrollment and updation facility has started at Kohima Head Post Office, Mon Post Office, Tuensang Post Office, and Zunheboto Post Office. Enrollment is to be carried out through documents based verification for indigenous inhabitants of the State only, with exemptions to government employees, stated a press release from R.M. Patel, Director Postal Services, Nagaland Division. The verification will be based on any of the following documents: Permanent Residential Certificate (to be supported by documentary evidence), Scheduled Tribe Certificate (to be supported by documentary evidence), and Indigenous Certificate, it added.  

DC Mon issues exclusive contact number for Public Grievances Redressal

Mon, March 12 (DIPR): Deputy Commissioner of Mon, K. Thavaseelan (IAS) has informed the general public of Mon district that details of any grievance that are faced by them, including but not limited to water, electricity, mobile connectivity, sanitation, inordinate delay in processing of files by any department etc. may be intimated to the DC via SMS/WhatsApp on 7005766737.  

DC & DEO Phek informs

Phek, March 12 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer of Phek has informed that arms licenses which were produced for verification and kept under the custody of police stations ahead of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) election are being released. Therefore, the DC & DEO in a notification informed to collect the same at the earliest from the police stations where they were submitted.  

Free library for civil service aspirants in Mon DC office

Mon, March 12 (DIPR): All UPSC/ NPSC/ Other competitive exam aspirants in Mon district have been informed that a free library has been opened in the DC office here to aid them in their preparation. Aspirants can make use of the library during office hours on all working days, Deputy Commissioner of Mon, K. Thavaseelan (IAS) further stated.  

WSBAK training for pastors

Dimapur, March 12 (MExN): As part of enhancing the pastoral ministry, the Western Sümi Baptist Akukuhou Küqhakulu (WSBAK) is organizing three-day training for its pastors from March 19 to 21 at WSBAK Centre, Aküvüto Thahekhü Village. A press release from WSBAK Executive Secretary, Rev. Dr. Hevukhu Achumi has invited all the Pastors and Associate Pastors (general) to be a part of the training. Registration fee of Rs. 1500/- will be realized per participant, the release said, adding “those who are not able to attend due to certain unavoidable circumstances are asked to seek prior approval.”
