Amongla Jamir has informed all the Graduate Teachers (G/T) under Dimapur district who have not submitted their first appointment and regularization order yet to submit the same on or before November 2, 2016. The DDEO stated that teachers without complete documents will be excluded from the seniority list. KIN requests to grant leave to Kukis on Chavang Kut Dimapur, October 28 (MExN): The Kuki Inpi Nagaland (KIN) has extended warmest Chavang Kut greetings to all the Kuki people of Nagaland. Chavang Kut is a festival celebrated all over the world by the Kuki people on November 1 every year. Being an autumn festival, it also marks the harvest of the crops. It is a time to celebrate and give thanks to God for the abundant blessings, stated a press release from Media Cell, Kuki Inpi Nagaland. Thanking the Government of Nagaland under Chief Minister TR Zeliang for declaring Chavang Kut as a restricted holiday for the Kukis of Nagaland, KIN also requested all Government offices, schools and colleges of Nagaland to grant leave to all the Kuki people on November 1 for the Kut celebration. KMC notifies on banners, hoardings Dimapur, October 28 (MExN): The Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) has notified that displaying of banners, hoardings etc. on the War Cemetery wall and footbridges will be restricted with immediate effect.
