AR conducts motivational lecture Kohima, November 27 (MExN): 3 Assam Rifles Battalion conducted a motivational lecture on employment for young people in the Armed Forces at Alder College in Kohima with 60 students participating in it. The students were briefed about the prospects of joining the Indian Armed Forces after graduation and the eligibility criteria like age, qualification and physical standards. The options of joining the Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force) were listed and entry schemes for women was also elaborated, informed a press release from Assam Rifles. There was also an interaction session. The students were also educated about the career prospects after retiring from the Armed Forces.
