DEO Dimapur informs students for scholarship 

Dimapur, March 7 (MExN): The District Education Officer (DEO), Dimapur R Amongla Jamir has informed all the beneficiaries of scholarship for Scheduled Tribe (Class 9 & 10) that, due to inactive, incorrect account details etc, their scholarship amount could not be credited into their accounts. For those students who have applied but included in the failed transaction may come and check the list by producing the original mark sheet and original bank Passbook for the period 2016-17, 2017-2018 & 2018-19 respectively during office hours on or before March 30.

 

DEO Kohima informs on pre-matric scholarship

Kohima, March 7 (MExN): The District Education Officer (DEO) Kohima has informed all beneficiaries under Pre-Matric Scholarship for Schedule Tribe (PMS-ST) of class 9 (nine) and 10 (ten) 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-2019 which could not be credited into personal account due to dormant/inactive or incorrect details given by the students will disbursed at the office of the District Education Officer (DEO), Kohima. Y Mary Zhimomi DEO in a press release has asked the concerned beneficiaries to check the back-log name list along with xerox of the first page bank passbook mentioned in the name list from March 11 to April 12. After the expiry of the above mentioned date, the office will not entertain any such cases, it added.

 

Administrator DMC informs

Dimapur, March 7 (MExN): Administrator Dimapur Municipal Council, Moa Sangtam has informed all the DMC trade license holders that the grace period for the renewal of trade license for the year 2019 will expire on March 31. Hence all the DMC trade license holders are informed to renew their respective license within the stipulated period to avoid payment of late fines.

 

Governor prorogues 3rd session of 13th NLA

Kohima, March 7 (MExN): The third session of the 13th NLA was prorogued by the Governor of Nagaland, PB Acharya at the conclusion of its sitting on February 26. The third session of the NLA was held from February 23 and the session was adjourned sine die on February 26. In a DIPR report, the session was marked by discussion and adoption of Government Resolution on Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, passing of the Nagaland Lokayukta (Amendment) Bill 2019, presentation of budget for the year 2019-2020 among others.
