2 NSCN (R) cadres terminated

Dimapur, March 25 (MExN): The UT-1 of the NSCN/GPRN (Reformation) has terminated two of its cadres from active national service with immediate effect. UT-1 Supervisor and Kilonser, Khekato Kinny stated that the two – identified as Inaka Asumi and Neibu Shuya, Leacy – were found involving in ‘anti- social activities’ against the ‘Yehzabo’ of the government, a press release from the MIP of the NSCN/GPRN (R) informed. As such, the NSCN/GPRN (R) informed the public not to entertain the duo in any way relating to the matter of government.  

DBSU elects new officials

Dimapur, March 25 (MExN): Dimapur Bengali Students’ Union (DBSU) today elected its new team of office bearers in a meeting held here at the DBSU office at Millennium Market. The new team will be headed by Subham Nath as president, Rajat Ghosh – vice president, Biki Dey – general secretary, Raju Malakar – assistant general secretary, Raja Debnath – finance secretary, Prasanjit Dutta – press and media secretary, and Deep Debnath – treasurer. The tenure of the new team will be for two years starting from April 1, 2018.  

NSUK gets new office bearers

Kolkata, March 25 (MExN): The Naga Students’ Union Kolkata (NSUK) held its 52nd Parting Social on March 24 at the NCF Chapel Hall, Old Nagaland House, Kolkata. On the occasion, the union’s Election Commission also elected a new team of office bearers for the tenure 2018-2019 with Thepuzo Keyho as President and Dinenli Kath as General Secretary. Other office bearers include: Atolivi H Jimomi – Vice President, Tiajungla Tally – Finance Secretary, Yashilumba Ao – Cultural and Literary Secretary, Mechiel Dili – Info and Statistical Secretary, Ngangoulal - Games and Sports Secretary, and Christina Yanthan - Asst. Games and Sports Secretary.
