NSF presidential council meeting
Kohima, February 15 (MExN):The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has convened a presidential council meeting on February 22, 1:00 pm at NSF office, Kohima. A press release from its President and General Secretary stated that the NSF during its official meeting on February 13 resolved to hold the meet pertaining to backdoor appointment issue and Staff Selection Board (SSB) and to discuss on further course of action. In this regard, the NSF has requested all presidents of the Federating Units and Sub-ordinate bodies to be present at the aforementioned meeting.
Illegal liquor seized in Mon
Mon, February 15 (MExN): The Konyak Nyupuh Sheko Khong (KNSK) youth and members of Tanlao Ward, Mon town, conducted a surprise check on February 14 and seized 20 cans of beer and 882 bottles of rum. A press release from the KNSK on Saturday informed that the bootlegger as well as the seized illegal liquor was remanded to police custody and a case has been registered under the relevant section. Meanwhile, the KNSK lauded the members of Tanlao Ward for their effort to rid their ward as well as the district from illegal intoxicants.
Post Graduate Education & Career Expo 2020
Dimapur, February 15 (MExN): EduCentre will be conducting ‘Post Graduate Education and Career Expo 2020’ between February 24 – 29, 9:30 am at Hotel Acacia, Dimapur. The fair, a press release from EduCentre informed will be an ‘expo set up style’ where students will get access on various career prospects in their stream of study across arts, commerce and science and also opportunities of studying across India and abroad. A job stall will be put up for students who plan to pursue work after their studies. The job centre will also share tips and tools on resume writing and interview skills.
