ACCIF Nagaland terminates one
Dimapur, April 29 (MExN): The Anti Corruption and Crime Investigation Front (ACCIF), Nagaland State unit has terminated Akahoto Chophy, District Secretary from the organization with effect from April 19, 2018 for illegal collection in the market. This was informed in a press release issued by ACCIF Nagaland State unit president, Akhei Achumi.
MCYA organises training
Medziphema, April 29 (MExN): Medziphema Catholic Youth Association (MCYA) organised one day training for youths on April 28 at SFS Catholic Church Medziphema. Resource person Kenny Rhetso, Chief Technical Officer, KVK Dimapur, ICAR Nagaland Centre deliberated on the topic ‘Income generating source through value addition from and vegetables.’ The training, which was attended by 18 youths, began with invoking God’s blessing by the Local Catechist, SFS Church Medziphema Neichübeilhou Paul.
NMAP new team takes over
Kohima, April 29 (MExN): New officials of New Market (Ser) Area Panchayat (NMAP), Kohima for the tenure 2018-2022 took over office on April 8. The new team will be headed by Ruokuobizo Nyusou as Chairman, Zerüüzo Suohu- vice chairman, K Selhou Yalietsu- general secretary, Neisazolie Khezhie- treasurer, and Kuotsuwhelie Kehie- adviser.
North Kikruma village dedication prog deferred
Kohima, April 29 (MExN): In view of the model code of conduct in force for the forthcoming bye-election for parliamentary election in Nagaland, the programme for the dedication and inaugural function of North Kikruma village in Phek district has been deferred to June 8. North Kikruma village council chairman has regretted the inconvenience caused to the participants of the programme.
